Daughters of the American Revolution: A Legacy of Service

As we lead into the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we review a brief history of Wisconsin from early migration to statehood and share stories about some of the pioneers who contributed to settling northeast Wisconsin. Profiles of these early settlers show how the area’s children and grandchildren of American Revolutionary War patriots continued the legacy of service of their ancestors and contributed to the growth and settlement of the area. Some of the children and grandchildren of the patriots featured in the presentation are buried right here in Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Oconto and Marinette counties. ​
